About Ejo

Ejo is an experienced remedial massage therapist who has been practising bodywork since 2015. With over 10 years of hands-on experience, she brings together Eastern and Western therapeutic perspectives to provide thoughtful, individualized care.

Her approach looks beyond the area where pain is felt. She considers how muscles, fascia, nerves, joints and movement patterns may interact and contribute to a person's symptoms.

Rather than focusing solely on temporary symptom relief, Ejo aims to help clients better understand their bodies, improve movement and support longer-term recovery.

Areas of Clinical Focus

Clients commonly seek Ejo's support for:

  • Neck and shoulder tension
  • Lower back discomfort
  • Posture and movement-related pain
  • Muscle and fascial tension
  • Sports and exercise recovery
  • Persistent muscular discomfort
  • Mobility and movement restrictions
  • General muscular tension and fatigue

Treatment Philosophy

"Treat the person, not just the painful area."

Ejo believes that pain experienced in one part of the body may be influenced by how other areas are moving and functioning.

Her treatments therefore consider the relationships between muscles, fascia, nerves, joints and movement patterns rather than simply working on the area where symptoms are felt.

An important part of her approach is education. Ejo enjoys explaining physical conditions in simple and practical terms so clients can better understand their bodies and take an active role in their recovery.

Treatment Approach

Remedial Massage

Individualized hands-on treatment based on the client's symptoms, movement and physical presentation.

Myofascial & Soft Tissue Work

Techniques aimed at addressing muscular and fascial tension and improving comfortable movement.

Movement & Postural Assessment

Looking beyond the painful area to identify movement patterns and other factors that may be contributing to symptoms.

What to Expect

Your first session begins with a discussion about your symptoms, relevant health history, daily activities and treatment goals.

Ejo will assess the areas involved and consider how different parts of the body may be contributing to your symptoms.

Treatment is then tailored to your individual needs and comfort level.

Where appropriate, Ejo may also explain what she has found and provide practical self-care advice to help clients better understand and manage their bodies between appointments.
